The Blank Gallery sells prints of work whose copyright has expired. No estate, no licence fee, no markup for a signature. 79 works so far, pulled from museums that have released their collections into the public domain and chosen by hand rather than scraped in bulk.
A digitised painting is only as large as the file behind it. We hold each scan to a floor of 150dpi at the size you order, and any size the file cannot carry is greyed out rather than quietly upscaled. On some works that means the largest print is 30 x 40 cm. We would rather show you the ceiling than sell you a soft poster.
